“The meaning of life is to find your gift … the purpose of life is to give it away.” Pablo Picasso
God is the Master Artist; He created Picasso and gifted him with talent and also gave Pablo his very first breath of life.
Let’s look at Picasso’s quote in a different manner as it relates to Jesus. The meaning of His Life was to be our gift; the purpose of His Life was to give it away. Christ is our perfect Gift because God loved us so much, He gave us His only begotten Son. Jesus knew His purpose in life when He gave it all away for us on the Cross.
It was all done on purpose: “For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” John 6:33 “In him (Jesus) was life, and that Life was the light of all mankind.” John 1:4
Now it’s time to celebrate life in a special way. This must be done on purpose. If you have not done it yet , accept God’s Gift of Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Be part of the chosen people, God’s special possession. Then we can praise Him because He has taken us out of the darkness and into His wonderful light. It’s the best gift you will ever receive.
Then, do something else on purpose: Give the Gift away by sharing the good news of Jesus with others.
The Kingdom of God is near! Heaven is a prepared place for prepared people. We can all get there, ON PURPOSE!
