Definition: To be extremely careful when talking to someone in order to not upset them.
We need to stop ‘talking on eggshells’ and be bold with any chance we get to testify - no matter who it is we are talking to.
We have to roar like lion when speaking about our Faith. Did you know that the ground shakes when a lion roars? The lion lets everyone around him know that he is the king of the jungle. Be like a lion and roar when you are telling others about the King of kings of the universal jungle. Speak with confidence when sharing the Truth of the Good news.
The truth is like a lion, it can defend itself. Once the lion and truth are released, they are uncontrollable.
It begins with prayer so God can help you find words that please Him. We must
stay centered with God so He opens the windows to Heaven and gives you insight and creativity (Wisdom) when speaking.
Prayer is powerful . . . The power of prayer is not in the one saying it. The power of prayer activates and increases Faith in the one hearing it. “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.” Romans 10:17 NIV
Prayer is our instant connection to plug into the power of Heaven. It’s our open line to the throne - it is our link between God’s will and what He wants accomplished on earth as it is in Heaven.
Most Christians are not using the full power of prayer in our daily lives because we are ‘talking on eggshells’ while the darkness of the world screams. Be an extension cord by connecting to His word and letting people hear about your bold, unfiltered Faith.
Prayer must be our first reaction instead of our last resort in an emergency.
Below is an example of how to tell others about Jesus by using the talent God has given you. My method is through writing while others is through music. I personally know a couple that been spreading the gospel through music for more than 51 years.
Below is an example of how to do it through the lyrics in a song that is popular today. Paraphrased from Let me tell you ‘bout my Jesus:
🎶 He rose from the grave and set me free
Who would care that much about me?
… Who can wipe away the tears
From broken dreams and wasted years
And tell the past to disappear? Oh
Let me tell you 'bout my Jesus
And all the wrong turns that you would
Go and undo if you could
Who can work it all for your good
Let me tell you about my Jesus
His love is strong and His grace is free
And the good news is I know that He
Can do for you what He's done for me
Let me tell you 'bout my Jesus! 🎵
Listen to the words . . . And let my Jesus change your life. If He did it for me, He can do it for you.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 NIV
